Characters

- The Trap: Players can no longer get stuck in the top of the door if they are in the doorway when it closes

- Players will now see the outline of a Flock update in real time when marked but not visible to the player (ie. seen through a wall)

- Players that die will their Ultimate is active will no longer have their Ultimate fully recharged after being revived

- Crawlers will no longer initiate self destruction after spawning in as reinforcement in Escape

- Sires will no longer initiate a Sire Grab when a player is on a different elevation

Maps and Tiles

- Icebound: The mantle cover on top of the slides have returned for Horde only. This will provide a more comfortable defensive position in the towers for players

- Icebound: The side windows in the trading post are now always blocked off except for Horde. These changes are to reduce rifle suppression towards the spawn areas and allow more traversal across the map

- Icebound: The blizzard is now denser and lasts for 30 seconds rather than 15. This change is to allow more opportunities to traverse across the map. In Horde, the timing remains the same but the blizzard will also be denser.

- Icebound: The blizzard still triggers every 2 minutes for all PVP modes except for Gridiron. In Gridiron, the blizzard triggers at the 1-minute mark and will only trigger that one time per round

- Allfather’s Arena: Fixed an issue where users could end up on top of cover

- Vasgar: Spectator camera will no longer shake when players are moving against certain high cover pieces

- The Pit: Fixed an issue where rolling onto a slide could cause sporadic movement

- Tiles: Fixed an issue that could cause a Pouncer’s tail to get caught and stretch

- Tiles: General improvements to some tiles to improve cover, reduce clipping or address camera issues

- Tiles: Fixed an issue that could cause a player to fall through the map when tagged with a flash grenade while in a struggle with a Sire

- Fixed an issue where Lambent death explosion did not deal damage to players or enemies.

- Fixed an issue where Lambent units would frequently spawn too close to Locust or Swarm units.

- Wardens that spawn in the context of being a mini-boss will now display the boss locator and health bar.

- Reduced base health of Wardens spawning outside of boss wave to 10,000HP from 15,000HP.

- Rebalanced boss combinations in Horde Frenzy to avoid combining bosses that rapidly invalidate low cover positions (Kestrel, Sentinel, Swarmak, Flock, Wakaatu)

- Matchmaking into Horde Frenzy will no longer frequently place players in Daily Challenge lobbies.

Zu guter Letzt wird der PvE-Event „Horde Mania“ stattfinden, der euch in 25 Wellen euer Team konstant fordern wird.

Hier wurden einige Anpassungen in folgenden Bereichen gemacht:

- Reduced the damage resistance of the “Heads Up” mutator on boss creatures.

- Fixed an issue where Palace Guards and Flame Grenadiers would regenerate health even if “Enemy Regeneration” was not an active mutator.

- Fixed an issue where flying enemies would get stuck inside interior spaces on Bunker.

- Fixed an issue where the wave would not end if all players went DBNO if a Palace Guard or Flame Grenadier was present.

- Rebuilding the Fabricator will now correctly remove 4000 power.

- Added the Smoke Grenade to the Fabricator.

- The Palace Guard and Flame Grenadiers can now be stunned and staggered by Ultimate and Skill Card effects.

PATCH NOTES

PVP:

- The Gnasher will no longer have brighter muzzle flashes on the 2 v 2 Allfather Arena map.

- Players will now receive appropriate penalties for continuing to disband Competitive lobbies.

- We’ve removing the ability to see the PC Icon in Public lobbies across Gears 5, this icon will stay in for Custom matches to help maintain esports integrity.

- We’ve added an option to add a delay to the expression wheel appearing, this can be toggled from instantly to 5 seconds which should help prevent accidental openings of the wheel while in combat.

- You can now toggle off the option to “Yank” a player over cover, sometimes a player will accidentally try to yank while trying to revive a DBNO player against cover which will help prevent this issue from occurring.

PVE:

- Players will no longer have an invisible weapon when revived in specific circumstances in PvE.

- The Relic Weapons have now been moved into the “minimal” Gears 5 install; this addresses an issue with users crashing when loading Atrium.

- An exploit which allowed players to force all enemies to spawn in a specific location in Turbine has been fixed.

- Abyss no longer appears twice in the Horde Frenzy stats section.

- An issue with a door on the Trap Hive has now been addressed.

- Hoffman will now correctly call out a Warden when he marks it.

- Flame Grenadiers and Palace Guards will no longer fire their weapons while feared.

- Players will no longer continue to take damage from the poison puddles mutator at the end of a Horde wave.

- Lambent enemies will now have an outline when a Marksman uses their X-Ray ability.

- Rebuilding the Fabricator will now correctly cost 4,000 power.

- Sires will now move when targeting a Decoy.

OTHER:

- The Embar is now centralised in the weapon’s customization screen.

- To address a crash, players are now unable to use Jack’s abilities while in a vehicle in the Campaign.

- A specific cover has had its collision heightened in Training Grounds to prevent you jumping over it.

- The Chalkboard skin has now been restored to the correct version.

- The Made you Flinch expression now uses the correct Card image.
