New Features and Experiences

Captures

- The Captures app now lets you see all you clips and screenshots at once, no matter if they are saved locally or on the Xbox Network.

Icons will show capture location on hover, and you can always filter by save location like before.

Game Hubs

- Game Hubs will now contain a module showing Dynamic Backgrounds for the game if it has them.

Selecting it will allow you see a focused view of all backgrounds for the game, so you can more easily customize your Home.

This module will show alongside existing modules like Game Stats and Add-ons.

Store

Gruppen

- Die Startseite kann nun von 2 Gruppen bis zu 10 Gruppen angepint werden

- Auch die Gruppenverwaltung ist jetzt einfacher, da das Neuanordnen nun genauso funktioniert wie das Neuanordnen von Spielen auf Home.

- Außerdem haben wir das Anheften von Gruppen an Home in „Meine Spiele & Apps“ intuitiver gestaltet und die Übersicht über bereits hinzugefügte Gruppen verbessert.

Settings

- Unter Einstellungen / Cloud Gaming: Auflösung festgelegt werdem & streaming preference (network quality indicator & steam stastitics overlay)

Play History

- Play history on Console has been updated with a refreshed horizontal layout and new organization as games are grouped into time-based sections: Today, Last week, and Older.

- Additionally, Play history can also be accessed from a tab in 'My games & apps', making it easier for users to access their cross-platform activity.

Achievements

- We’ve refreshed achievement notifications with a new look and feel, including updated icons and animations when you unlock classic or rare achievements.

- We've given Rewards with Xbox a home of its own. A subset of users can check their point balance from the top nav, track their progress to the next level,

claim points the moment they're ready, and tap Explore Rewards levels to see what they unlock as they climb.

New Features and Experiences

Home

- After your console updates, you can now quickly access the latest release notes directly from Home’s top navigation to easily see what’s new and explore new features.

- Now you can stay informed without leaving your console.

When there’s a confirmed XBOX service issue, a new indicator will appear on the upper-right corner of the screen so you can quickly see what’s going on.

From there, you can jump straight to a status page with the latest updates on what’s affected and when things are expected to be back up and running, no need to check other sites or social channels.

Gemeinsame Freunde (Mutual Friends)

- When you view someone’s profile, you can now see mutual friends on XBOX (depending on their privacy settings), helping you feel more confident connecting.

If you’re viewing someone you are not already friends with, you’ll also see how many mutual friends you share, making it simpler to discover new people and build connections, whether you met through multiplayer, or across the XBOX community.

My Games and Apps

- You can now display games with rich poster-style artwork for a more immersive library experience and customize your view by choosing which status icons are visible for a cleaner look.

Wishlist

- You can now add games to your Wishlist directly from the Game Card before they’re available for purchase.

That means less time searching later and an easier way to keep track of the games you’re looking forward to.

Profile

- Inspired by your feedback, we’re expanding how you can make your console truly yours.

You’ll soon be able to enter a specific hex color code for precise color selection or use the new “match my gamerpic” option to pull a color directly from your gamerpic.

Once you’ve picked your color, you can preview how it carries across your console, making it easier to see exactly how your look comes together before you set it.

XBOX Accessories

The XBOX Accessories app now shows an image of the specific XBOX controller you have connected.

Whether you're using a supported standard or special edition XBOX Wireless Controller, or an XBOX Elite Wireless Controller Series 2,

it’s easier to confirm you’ve got the right one. selected, especially when you’re remapping buttons or adjusting settings to fine-tune your set up.

Neues Abo: Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family

- Nutzer sollten sich auch im Klaren sein, dass man erst nach der nächsten Verlängerung zu einem anderen Game Pass-Abo wechseln kann, wenn man der primäre Besitzer ist. Eingeladene Personen können den Plan jederzeit verlassen.

- Ebenfalls wichtig ist der Punkt, dass man nur Personen in Friends & Family einladen bzw. es freigaben darf, die im eigenen Land leben.

Es gilt also nicht weltweit und das Land muss mit dem des Kontoinhabers übereinstimmen.

- Weiterhin können keine Codes für Game Pass-, Gold- oder EA Play-Abonnements eingelöst werden, wenn man im Friends & Family-Plan mit drin ist.

- Abgerechnet wird die Mitgliedschaft übrigens nur über den primären Kontoinhaber. Es wird also keine Aufteilung an die Gruppe erfolgen.

Nutzer sollten zudem folgende Freigabeeinschränkungen beachten:

- Sie können jeweils nur Mitglied einer Gruppe sein.

- Als primärer Kontoinhaber können Sie bis zu vier Personen gleichzeitig mit maximal acht Personen pro Jahr einladen, die akzeptieren, ihrem Konto beizutreten.

- Ihre Gruppenmitglieder können einer Gruppe nur bis zu zwei Mal pro Jahr beitreten. Dies schließt das Verlassen und erneute Beitreten der selben Gruppe ein.

- Nur der primäre Kontoinhaber kann seine Game Pass-Vorteile durch Freigabe der Heimkonsole freigeben.

Gruppenmitglieder können auf ihrer Konsole keine Freigabe für andere Konten durchführen.
